FIRESTORM

Ever since this happened,
I haven’t felt myself within me
A maelstrom of tears,
And i can’t believe what i see,

The promised land is burnin,
And I have lost faith in destiny,

Its like a FIRE STORM,
There’s no way out..
And i’m burning away,

There’s children out on the street,
Listen to their cries for mercy,
Hunger and tears,
Have shrouded this land in misery,
Holding back the anger,
For fear of my life, i live,

Open crimson scars that never heal,
Scream at my own reflection,
Can’t fathom how i feel,

Grey clouds, they let no sunshine,
And shed no rain to eat the flames,
God’s wicked as the devil here,...
It’s another of his sick games...
No place to leave..no place for me to stay,
The land i knew IS smouldering away.....
